What information we collect

We collect personal information that you provide directly to us through the enquiry forms on our website. Depending on which form you complete, this may include:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your property address or postcode
  • Financial and property-related information, such as estimated property values or investment figures
  • Any additional details you choose to include in your message

We do not collect any special category data (such as health information) and we ask that you do not include any in your submissions.

We also collect certain information automatically when you visit our website. This includes data about your device, browser, and how you interact with our pages, gathered through cookies and similar technologies. Please see the Cookies section below for more detail.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and communicate with you about your interest in our services
  • Assess and process your submission — for example, evaluating a property for sale or an investment opportunity
  • Maintain records of our interactions with you
  • Improve our website and services based on how visitors use them

We will only use your information for the purposes it was collected for, unless we have a legitimate reason and legal basis to use it for something else.

Our legal basis for processing

Under UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:

  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, manage our business operations, and improve our services, where this does not override your rights
  • Consent — where you have given us clear permission, such as accepting cookies when you visit our site
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into an agreement

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our business and website. These include:

  • Analytics providers — we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website. Google may process data on our behalf as a data processor. You can learn more at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Advertising and marketing platforms — we use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. This may involve Meta processing data about your visit to our site.
  • Workflow and automation tools — your enquiry data may be passed through third-party automation and CRM platforms to help us manage and respond to submissions efficiently.

All third parties we work with are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with applicable data protection law. We do not transfer your personal data outside the United Kingdom.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to help the site function and to give us insight into how it is used.

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — essential for the website to function. These cannot be disabled.
  • Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics to collect anonymous information about how visitors use our site, such as which pages are visited most often.
  • Marketing cookies — used by platforms such as Meta to track visits to our site and help us deliver relevant advertising.

When you first visit our website, you will be asked to consent to non-essential cookies. You can change your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings on our site.

How long we keep your data

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this policy, or as required by law. In general, enquiry data is kept for up to two years from the date of your last contact with us, after which it is securely deleted. Analytics and cookie data is retained in accordance with the relevant platform's own data retention settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data in certain circumstances
  • Right to restrict processing — you can ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Right to object — you can object to us processing your data on the basis of legitimate interests
  • Right to data portability — you can ask for your data in a structured, machine-readable format in certain circumstances

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at enquiries@rehouse.group. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
